DREAMLAND Vocalist Sings Swedish National Anthem; Video Available
March 9, 2008Singer Joacim Lundberg (a.k.a. Jake E) of the Swedish metal band DREAMLAND recently sang the Swedish national anthem in front of 11,800 people at the Scandinavium in Gothenburg prior to the Frölunda Indians hockey game. Watch footage of the performance below.
DREAMLAND recently saw both of their full-length albums released in the U.S. via Ryko Distribution / Locomotive / Dockyard 1.
The band's latest CD, "Eye for an Eye", was recorded at Joacim Cans' (HAMMERFALL) Moonshine Studio and Andy LaRocque's (KING DIAMOND) Los Angered Recording, where the album was also mixed. According to the group, the effort follows the melodic-yet-heavy style of their first release, "Future's Calling" (2005) "but [may] also surprise the listener here 'n' there."
